katy grannan's appropriately washed out portraits of otherwise invisible hollywood walkers are so soft and surreal that at times they look like paintings. the whole collection is compiled in an oversized paperback called boulevard, that amounts to a bleak transport into the depths of your own picturesque insignificance.

I love these pictures. Good find. When was it published? How long is it? I think the idea of asking a lot of difficult follow-up questions on this comments page is hilarious... how many words are in this book?
