first time i heard these boys it was satan is real in the record store on a slow night cranked loud and i just about lost my mind. ran home with a copy for me and one for my dad and all he had to say about it was "i know" with his eyes big. charlie's dead today, which for me is more amazing than sad, considering how the old songs sound like they came from the beginning of time.

total bummer! I love the Louvin Brothers. Their voices together really were heavenly. We can keep them alive by keeping em' on the record player.
