willie played this one real quiet and slow last night, like he was only practicing, to an audience of four or eight in a seaside church where passengers would sit and wait for their boats to go sailing. it was summer and time didn't seem to mean much but rotten fruit was in the hands and wet on the faces of fancy sunday kids walking on water. the rest i don't remember.
