should i just rename this website family band? family born to be bandvous? oh no. terrible name. what you need today is exactly what family band has. five dead winter stares sung and put to video by such talented extended family as tim barber, marty hyers, william mebane, luke meyer, ethan palmer, corey adams and kim & jonny themselves. man, i know i bring it up too much, but i just love the way these guys operate. such hard, wholesome, visionary workers. and dude! "the deal*" takes place at annie's parents' house! haverstraw! crazy! no need for fancy language here. watch the videos and download the cold songs ep for a measly five bucks. you'd be a straight up idiot not to do this.

i been tryna come up with an excuse to post this perfectly bucktoothed honky bar(n) burner i been hearing nonstop nowadays, give a little context, but i been failing up and down. there's pearl river, the muddy flooder that runs the louisiana mississippi divide line, and the poet pearl rivers who borrowed its name, but all that's too heavy on the potpourri. then there's the murdering mississippi kidnapper tom steven sanders who faked his death and did his nasty thing for sixteen years until hunters found what was left of little lexis roberts in some louisiana woods and dragged him down-- was what he was in the end and paid, but who needs the darkness. all you need's the song.
